A Julliard graduate turned Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir lead voice, turned award-winning CCM recording artist, turned CBS News Anchor who eventually saw that none of this mattered. She discovered that in dying to self and living for Christ there is fullness of joy and a life worth living. Dámarís takes us through this process, sharing her life, from early childhood and through every important milestone, pointing out the life lessons each step brought. As we go on this journey with her, we too are invited to die to our selves and live for him. Yet, Dámaris’ joy exudes through the pages of the book and surprisingly, this cedes to be as much of a scary thought but one we long to embrace.
